"It’s a very good exfoliater and I had no issues regarding it. It does what it says and it’s fun to turn it from powder to liquid. My pores appear smaller and my skin feels very clean when I use it. My only issue is that it’s the only tatcha product I’ve used that doesnt feel luxurious for the price. I’ve used this brands creams, cleansers, and serums, and all of them feel very luxurious and worth the price. This one just didnt hold up to that standard i formed from using their other products."

"I purchased 3 types of the Rice Polish (gentle, classic, deep). Unfortunately, I didn't completely realize that these weren't actual physical facial SCRUBS. They're just powdered cleansers (no physical exfoliation). . . that supposedly offer some chemical exfoliation? I noticed zero exfoliation when I used these cleansers. For that reason alone, I ill not repurchase. Some of these reviews are pretty funny. They made wrinkles 'disappear'? Sure Jan. They work fine as a cleanser. I do find them convenient for my gym bag and travel (no liquid leaking risk)."

"This has to be my 10th time buying this. I love it so much. It’s a game changer and there is nothing else out there that works this well for my acne prone skin. I’m getting older and what you put on your skin matters more now than ever. Japanese skin care the way to go and Tatcha products are luxurious and great quality. My skin feels clean and soft after and the water cream after is to die for. My skin has never looked better. I don’t use anything else and always for it for Christmas You won’t be disappointed."

- I have oily acne prone skin and use retinol and benzoyl peroxide products to address that. As a result, my skin is a little dry. However, I do want a product to reduce pore size and brighten skin. Would Rice polish deep too harsh? Should I consider classic instead?

- Hello! Classic is ideal for normal to combination skin and contains pearl that helps condition the skin while you exfoliate. The Deep is ideal for oily/acne prone skin and helps to minimize pore appearance and breakouts. We hope this helps.
